2018 - Why Travel in Romania With Us?

I started this Guided Tours Travel Company in Romania in April 2014. After 4 years, I have to say it was a great decision! I left behind 10 years of journalism as a TV editor at PROTV station in Bucharest for a new adventure: a guide in Romania!

The feedback recived was more than I expected and it was a great surprise to see how many foreigners are visiting Romania  ! Of course, they have lots of reasons to visit Romania and I am glad to guide them here.

When I started the tour company I decided to do Private Guided Tours for small groups of friends or families. I think that a smaller private group will give you the privacy and freedom you need for a great experience here. Rather than beeing stuffed in a big 45 seats bus. So, privacy and flexibility are my goals when touring Romania.

In 4 years of guiding, I had more than 130 tours, longer or shorter. We covered all important sites of Romania: medieval Transylvania with Saxon Villages and Fortified Churches, Castles and Fortresses and superb cities like Brasov or Sibiu.

We had an amazing time in wild Danube Delta, the area where Danube River flows into the Black Sea. It is the perfect place for a wildlife tour in Romania with more than 300 bird species there, a paradise for birding in Romania.

The cultural treasures in north-eastern part of Romania, in Bucovina, are the Painted Churches, 8 of them included in Unesco World Heritage. It is the most spiritual area of Romania.

For those who wants a journey back in time, we go to Maramures, the northern part of Transylvania. Less known to general public, this amazing area is the most traditional area of Romania, a place where people are still keeping alive their traditions. Characteristic for Maramures are without a doubt, the Wooden Churches, 8 of them included in Unesco World Heritage. Not to say about the superb landscapes, the mountains and the rolling hills of Maramures.
