Wildlife Adventure in Danube Delta - Guided Tour in 3 Days

Danube Delta is the only natural area from Romania included in Unesco World Heritage. We`ll have Boat Rides inside the largest Delta in Europe, a paradise for millions of birds, wild horses, the paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers.

Exploring Danube Delta is the best wildlife activity in Romania. The Danube River starts in Germany, from the Black Forest Mountains, and flows into the Black Sea in Romania creating the amazing Delta, the newest territory of Europe which expands without stopping.

Day 1
Our adventure to the Danube Delta starts in the morning from your hotel in Bucharest. We drive for 3.5 hours and arrive in the Tulcea City. We leave the car and board a taxi boat. After an hour, we arrive in the heart of the Danube Delta, in Crisan Village. A delicious home cooked lunch prepared by a local lady is ready for us - great food, fresh fish from the Delta. We rest a little and, in the afternoon, we will the first boat ride in the Delta. We will enjoy a beautiful sunset on the canals and lakes of the Delta. Excellent opportunity for photos!
OVERNIGHT IN THE DANUBE DELTA

Day 2
After a good sleep and breakfast, we are ready for the second boat ride in the Delta. This time, the trip will be longer to explore the wild Danube Delta in depth. We will have a professional guide who will share with you all the secrets of the Delta, about the flora and fauna. The best time to explore the Danube Delta is from May to September, with May and June being the most suitable periods. After three hours of admiring the flora and fauna of the Delta, we stop in a remote village, Mila 23. Here we will enjoy a spectacular lunch, in a traditional house, prepared by a local lady. After lunch, we get back on the boat and continue our adventure through the Delta. After another two hours of exploring, we arrive at the accommodation, where you can enjoy the swimming pool and free time. Optionally, kayak tours can be organized on the narrow canals in the area.

Day 3
After breakfast, we embark for Tulcea, and from there, drive 3.5 hours to Bucharest where we arrive around 4 pm in the afternoon.
