This two-day private tour in Transylvania offers you the opportunity to discover Sibiu, which was the European Capital of Culture in 2007.

Day 1
We meet at your hotel in Bucharest and hit the road. We will make stops on the way and, after four hours, we will arrive in Sibiu.
We will take a walking tour of the Old Town of Sibiu, which escaped almost intact during the communist regime which ruled Romania after the Second World War.

In 2007, Sibiu was designated the European Capital of Culture, the year Romania joined the European Union. On this occasion, Sibiu went through an extensive renovation process. The Old Town is now like a hidden gem.
The top attractions in Sibiu are the two squares of the city: Large and Small Square, the Bridge of Lies, the Orthodox Cathedral and the Catholic and Lutheran Churches. For the evening we will recommend an excellent restaurant to enjoy a delicious dinner in the Old Town.
OVERNIGHT IN SIBIU

After breakfast, you will discover rural Romania. We are visiting the Astra Open Air Museum, a collection of traditional houses and churches from all over Romania. The location of the museum is charming - in a large park with a beautiful lake. After walking  the museum, we have lunch and head back to Bucharest, where we will arrive in the afternoon.
