Day 1
- today, we meet at your Hotel in Bucharest and start our two weeks adventure
- after a 2 hour drive, stop in the lovely Sinaia Mountain Town where we visit Peles Castle, the Summer Residence of the former Royal Family of Romania. It is the most beautiful palace of Romania, built in the late 1800's
- drive 1hour and arrive in Brasov Medieval City
- walking tour in Brasov Old Town and visit the 600 years old Black Church, the most impressive gothic church of Romania

Day 2
- a visit to Transylvania is not complete without a stop at Bran Castle, the most famous castle of Romania. You will learn about the Dracula story, what is real and what is fiction
- drive 1 hour and stop in the charming Viscri Saxon Village where we visit the Fortified Church, listed on the Unesco World Heritage. A very good opportunity to learn about the connection between King Charles III and this village where he owns a traditional house
- you will taste the Transylvanian cuisine at a local woman who will cook for us a traditional lunch
- after lunch, drive 45 minutes and arrive in Sighisoara Medieval Citadel

Day 3
- after breakfast, have a walking tour in Sighisoara Citadel  and head to Sibiu
- we stop in Biertan Saxon Village where we visit the 500 years old Fortified Church
- drive another hour and arrive in charming Sibiu Medieval City where we will have a nice walking tour to the main sites
OVERNIGHT IN SIBIU
 

Day 4
- after breakfast, a day trip from Sibiu on Transfagarasan Road, one of the most impressive roads from Europe. We drive to the top of the mountains at 2000 meter altitude and enjoy amazing views at Balea Glacier Lake.
- at 2pm, we are back in Sibiu - free time to enjoy the Old Town on your own

Day 5
- a longer drive today - we leave Transylvania and Romania to get to Budapest, the Capital of Hungary
- after a 3 hour drive, we make a stop in Timisoara, a beautiful city in western part of Romania. Time for a walk in  the Old Town and to learn about how the anti-communist revolutions started here in December 1989.
- after having lunch in Timisoara, we drive 3 hours and arrive in beautiful Budapest, Capital of Hungary
- in the evening, we will enjoy a river cruise on the Danube to admire Budapest by night, a great opportunity to admire the Parliament Palace and other impressive buildings

Day 6
- in the first part of the day,  a local licensed guide will show us the main sites of Budapest: Hungarian Parliament from Budapest, Heroes Square, St Stephen's Basilica, Gellert Hill and the Fortress, Chain Bridge etc
- after the walking tour in Budapest, you will have the rest of the day to enjoy the beautiful Hungarian Capital

Day 7
- after breakfast, we drive 2 hours and arrive in Slovakia, a great place for a stop in Bratislava Capital. A nice walking tour in the Old Town of Bratislava, followed by lunch.
- drive one more hour and reach Vienna, the Capital of Austria. We arrive in the afternoon and have a relaxed walk
OVERNIGHT IN VIENNA

Day 8
- a local licensed guide will take us on a walking tourin Vienna and you will learn all about Vienna's history. Top sites of Vienna: St Stephen's Cathedral, Rathaus of Vienna, the Parliament, Opera House, Imperial Palace etc
- free time in the afternoon to enjoy Vienna on your own

Day 9
- today, we will take you to a hidden gem of Medieval Europe: Cesky Krumlov in Czech Republic
- we drive 3 hours from Vienna and arrive in Cesky Krumlov, a lovely Unesco citadel
- walk in the Old Town and learn about the local history. Cesky Krumlov was first mentioned almost 800 years ago

Day 10
- a fantastic medieval city of Europe is Prague from Czech Republic where we will stay for three  nights
- after we arrive, at 1pm, we go for lunch in the Old Town of Prague
- after lunch, a relaxed walk in the Old Town
- in the afternoon, we will take a river cruise on Vltava River in Prague, followed by a nice dinner
OVERNIGHT IN PRAGUE
 

Day 11
- after breakfast, we are ready for a nice walking tour in Prague. We will explore all major sites of the city. A highlight of the day will be to climb the Old Town Hall tower for amazing views over Prague. Our walking tour in Prague will include the famous Charles Bridge, St Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle, Lesser Town, Hradcrany and many other beautiful sites.

Day 12
- after almost two weeks exploring Medieval Europe from Transylvania in Romania, Budapest, Vienna and Cesky Krumlov, save this day for full relaxing in Prague and enjoy the city on your own
