Amazing Roads of Romania: Transfagarasan and Transalpina in 5 days - Private Guided Tour

We propose you the ultimate adventure: 2 fantastic roads crossing Carpathians Mountains at more than 2000 meters altitude. "This is the best road in the world!" - was Top Gear producers exclamation after they drove on Transfagarasan Road. We are waiting them to try also Transalpina. DAY 1 

We'll pick you up from Bucharest Airport and transfer you at your hotel in Bucharest. If we have time, we'll visit the Capital of Romania. We'll discover The Old City, Stavropoleos Church, Village Museum, Palace of the Parliament, the second biggest building in the world after Pentagon and other sights. OVERNIGHT IN BUCHAREST

 

DAY 2

Our adventure starts in the morning. We'll start driving towards Transalpina Road. Stop at Hurezi Monastery - Unesco World Heritage. Arrive in Ranca Mountain Resort. OVERNIGHT IN RANCA

 

Day 3

This is the day! We'll drive on the amazing Transalpina Road. We'll reach the altitude of 2200 meters and we'll cross Carpathians Mountains. In the afternoon, reach Sibiu Medieval Town, 2007 Cultural Capital of Europe. Accommodation, rest and visit the city. OVERNIGHT IN SIBIU

 

Day 4
Another day of pumping adrenaline. We'll explore Transfagarasan Road on our way back to Bucharest. One hour from Sibiu and we are on top of the mountain, at 2000 meters altitude. We'll have plenty of time for great photos with the valey and Balea Lake. Time for lunch also. On our way back to Bucharest, another stop: Curtea de Arges Monastery, probably the nicest monastery in Romania. In the afternoon, reach Bucharest. OVERNIGHT IN BUCHAREST 
 
Day 5  
If your flight is later, we'll have more time in Bucharest. Transfer you to the Airport.
