Three Days in the Sky - Amazing Roads of Romania: Transalpina and Transfagarasan - Private Guided Tour - 3 days

DAY 1 BUCHAREST - RANCA

The ultimate adventure! Not one, but two fabulous roads really cut the tallest mountains from Romania: Transfagarasan and Transalpina, in a unique journey in the world. The famous producers of Top Gear said about Transfagarasan that it is "really the best road in the world". They haven't seen Transalpina yet. We expect them to try it and then to look for other epithets. We will leave from Bucharest in the morning and we will stop for a rest at Hurezi Monastery registered in UNESCO world heritage. Since we are facing a challenging road, we will spend the night in the beautiful Ranca mountain resort, located on Transalpina route. OVERNIGHT IN RANCA RESORT

DAY 2 - TRANSALPINA

After breakfast we will venture on the fabulous Transalpina. We will go across the road located at the highest altitude in the Carpathian Mountains. On our way from Transalpina to Sibiu we will pass through beautiful mountain villages: Jina, where we visit a genuine sheepfold and Sibiel with the Glass Icon Museum. In the evening, we will reach Sibiu where we will accommodate. OVERNIGHT IN SIBIU

DAY 3 - TRANSFAGARASAN

In the morning we will visit Sibiu and its historical center. We will visit  Large Square, Small Square Bridge of Lies, Council Tower, Orthodox Cathedral, Romano-Catholic Church, Lutheran Church. We head to Bucharest on the favorite highway of Top Gear producers: Transfagarasan. Dazzling streamers, more than two thousand meters heights, splendid breathtaking views, waterfalls and glacial lakes - that's what you will get on Transfagarasan. In the evening we return to Bucharest.
