His background in journalism results in excellent commentary on his country, its policies, its people and its geography

We have just returned from a riverboat cruise which began in Bucharest. We went over a few days early and are so glad we did. We are three mid-70's women who wanted a taste of Transylvania and the Transfagarasan Road. Our travel agent found George and we are so glad she did. Our time with him was the highlight of our trip. His command of English is outstanding. His background in journalism results in excellent commentary on his country, its policies, its people and its geography. We sincerely appreciated his help in sorting through the currency and language issues. George gave us such positive insight into his country. We loved every minute of our time with him and felt like we were leaving Romania with a new best friend!
