For centuries in Maramures, the locals have used what nature offered them and used it to their advantage. A river that passes behind the house helps this family to have a comfortable life - they built a water mill that puts all kinds of machinery into operation. The installation is still in operation today and you can see how the sheep's wool is prepared by the carding machine.
