Excellent guide, highly recommended

Touring Transylvania with George was an absolute pleasure!

"I first engaged with George almost three years ago when I started planning a holiday for myself, my partner and three of my friends. From the very start he listened to our needs carefully and made suggestions of what he thought we would like.
He answered all my questions very quickly and he built us a 4 day tour that sounded fantastic. Unfortunately Covid hit and our plans had to be put on hold.
George kept in touch with me and updated me regularly on the situation in Romania.
Eventually in May 2022 we flew out to Bucharest and started our adventure.
And what a fantastic time we had!
The accommodations George chose for us were gorgeous, spotlessly clean, comfortable and perfectly located.
We visited so many beautiful places, Sibiu (my favourite), Sighisoara and Brasov, George took us on walking tours of each town, we saw beautiful castles and churches, we had the most amazing home made food in Saxon villages and sampled many lovely wines, if I had to pick highlights of the tour for me it was the cable car on top of the Carpathians with views across Transfagarasan Road to the Balea waterfall and frozen lake. Just incredible!
Also our visit to the bear sanctuary was emotional, hearing the heart breaking stories of the rescued bears but it was also extremely heartwarming to see how happy and well looked after these bears are now.
At the end of the tour George dropped us off at our apartment in Bucharest for our last two nights, we actually missed him being around.
George, thank you so much for making our holiday so memorable and being such good company."
