Unbelievable experience that we'll always cherish

Words will fail me to adequately describe the trip that George planned for us.

"It was so much more than I could have ever imagined. His knowledge of history, relationships with locals in every area we explored and witty conversation kept us happily entertained. We feel like we have a good understanding of Romania and its unique areas, culture and traditions. He planned everything so perfectly and never complained about my incessant need to shop for beautiful Romanian crafts. The hotels he selected were truly spectacular and always located in the best locations. Our trip back in time to Maramuras was so special. We were able to see everyone dressed in their beautiful traditional clothes as they celebrated Pentecost. They were all so gracious and accepted us with generosity, kindness AND baskets of cookies. It doesn’t get better than that! We were able to eat in several private homes which was not only delicious but a true privilege to get a glimpse of their way of life. So warm and welcoming! Watching them build their iconic haystacks, work their loom or distill their favorite liquor was a photographer’s dream. George completely spoiled us! We’ve never been ones to travel with a private guide before as we’ve traveled extensively over the years … but now I understand what we were missing.
