"We were looking online for a birding guide to the Danube Delta and found George of Touring Romania, what good luck that was!! What first impressed us was the speed by which he answered all our emails (in excellent English) and then it became quickly evident he is extremely knowledgeable & competent in setting up any sort of tour and special requests you require. He organised our Danube transfer ferry, our great hotel on the water there, with detailed descriptions and good rates. He found us a great boating-birding guide and liaised our contact. After 4 days on the Delta, we drove to Bucharest and finally met George who gave us a superb one-day tour of the city. He was very charming and had a vast knowledge of the city's and country's history, spiced with fascinating personal stories of the communist period and its decline and fall. A bonus was that he expertly drove (and found parking spots!) in the chaotic traffic. He also took us to a lovely lunch locale. All together a fabulous day , thank you so much George!! Highly recommended!!"
