George was not only a superb guide to all the many picturesque places we visited - but also an encyclopedia of useful knowledge on the history and culture of Romania

I was part of a group sponsored by the Open Center of New York, traveling in Romania during the late summer of 2019 -- George was not only a superb guide to all the many picturesque places we visited -- but also an encyclopedia of useful knowledge on the history and culture of Romania -- he was always accessible for private conversations in response to my many questions -- I learned so much from these informal mini-seminars which gave me a broader context for understanding Romania past and present -- I really admired George not only for his warm and personable manner but also because of the contributions he has made to his country's journalism and politics --
I would give the highest recommendation to George and his travel service --
