I found Touring Romania online and communicated with George, who later became our driver/guide. He was always quick to answer by email,all of my questions, and offered suggestions and options.
George is an enthusiastic,caring, and flexibl person. .He made our trip in Romania enjoyable, easy, and without stress or hassles. He is a very careful and considerate driver, and was adaptable to our ideas, as well as concerned about our needs. In fact, he was not able to go to the Delta with us, but he suggested and made boat and bus reservations for us and then checked with us when we got back to Bucharest to make sure that all went well.
George's knowledge about the history of Romania, as well as his desire to have us see and meet the local village people gave us a clear insight into Romanians and their traditions.
The hotels he chose were comfortable and inviting, as were the places we ate. We even enjoyed 2 delicious meals prepared by a village lady in her local home.
I would not hesitate to recommend Touring Romania with George to anyone who would like to visit Romania.
