Hidden Gem!

My husband and I went on an adventure with George on the Best of Romania: 8 day Transylvania and Maramures tour.

We had a great time! We really didn’t know much about Romania but with this tour we learned so much about the country’s history and culture. Maramures is like a journey back in time. We had home cooked meals, fire water (ha, ha) and a hike to Rooster’s Crest. Peles Palace and the Turda Salt Mine were also highlights. The countryside and villages are beautiful! George is a fantastic tour guide! Very knowledgeable and passionate. Romania is a hidden gem not yet overrun with tourists that deserves more attention. If you’re thinking about going just do it!
