Guided Tour in Romania:
A journey back in time: Countryside Life from Transylvania and Maramures

I am a senior with limited mobility, traveling with a friend who suffers from similar issues. I cannot climb mountains or difficult steps. Yet, with George, in 14 days, I truly saw Romania. He did all the right things:located accommodations without steps, drove us through the beautiful country, taught us the history, shared the hopes of Romania’s future, Yes! I learned all the facts about Romania and the ability of the people to survive, both physically and spiritually through most difficult times. All of the things we expect our guides to do, he accomplished with the expertise of a professional.
What I did not expect: Through George, in 14 days, I felt the heart and soul of Romania, and how their faith sustains them, The people are as beautiful as the landscape. I fell in love with the way of life. It made me recall the days of simple values. So, George does have the ability to reach beyond the norm and share the heart and soul of Romania. And, I have the great fortune of having seen Romania through his eyes . In addition, I have made a wonderful and insightful friend!
