I see that my travel companion has already written a review, but I cannot resist adding to her comments. We were highly impressed with George and his services. We set up a 7 day tour with him several months in advance, and he also booked additional hotel nights and a trip on the Danube Delta for us. He responded promptly to our inquiries in the planning process and was available to us 24/7 by phone, including his free time, during our tour. The Romanian countryside, Maramures churches, and small villages are well worth seeing, and George has a wealth of information about them to share. He was completely open to answering all of our questions. We were pleased with all the hotels and special meals he booked for us. The three of us spent many hours every day together both traveling by car and at various tourist sights. He was professional and cheerful in all his dealings with us even when he was surely tired after a long day of driving and touring. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
