The MaramureÅŸ were an incredible step back in time, and the people were warm and giving.

George Trandafir, is an amazing guide, and everything he says about Touring Romania is absolutely true! John, the guide he uses in the Delta is extremely knowledgeable. Born in the Delta village of Letea, we found this local knowledge invaluable. The MaramureÅŸ were an incredible step back in time, and the people were warm and giving. The palace’s, castles, fortified churches, architecture, etc., are all amazing things to see, but what made the trip special for us was George’s knowledge, and the care he took to make our stay enjoyable. We came home with new memories, and a wonderful new friend! Thanks, George!
