An eye-opening experience!

George was so knowledgeable and informative. It was a delight to hear of his personal experiences during the 1989 revolution

"We did a 4-day/3-night tour of Transylvania [see JudyJudyJudyH's review since we were traveling with her and her husband]. George was so knowledgeable and informative. It was a delight to hear of his personal experiences during the 1989 revolution. And visiting historic Saxon villages and learning the history of Saxon immigration and settling in the Transylvania area was a highlight.
The accommodations arranged by George were outstanding. George also arranged for us to enjoy lunches and a wine tasting in the local Saxon villages. Having your wine purchase siphoned directly from the barrel in a real cellar was a treat.
I would highly recommend "Touring Romania" and George. I have a whole new appreciation for Romania!"
