Travel to Romania this winter!

Winter can be a very suitable time for a trip to Romania. Even if it is not the peak season, this can really be an advantage. Especially if there is snow, you will definitely like a trip to Romania.

A popular destination in the Carpathian Mountains is the Balea Glacier Lake located at 2040 meters altitude. We can get there from Sibiu in an hour and a half. From Balea Waterfall we take the cable car to reach the top. The views from there are truly fantastic!

Another winter destination that you will definitely like is Maramures. This is the northern area of Transylvania. Especially if we have snow, the landscapes are fantastic! Not to mention that in Cavnic Town you have a Ski Resort as well !

For those who like winter sports, we have many ski resorts in Romania. Close to Brasov, there is Poiana Brasov Ski Resort, with the best facilities for winter sports. Close to Sibiu, you can enjoy winter sports at Paltinis Ski Resort.
