Enjoy a husky sled ride in Transylvania!
A popular search on the internet is "things to do in Transylvania" . Or "places to see in Transylvania". Besides the famous Bran Castle, Sibiu or Brasov Medieval Cities, a top attraction is husky sledding in Transylvania.
Located less than two hours away from Brasov, this attraction is available in the winter months, starting with December until mid-March.
Once you arrive at the starting point, you will have the opportunity to make friends with the huskies. They are extremely friendly with people and ready to take you through dreamlike landscapes in the mountains of Transylvania.
The sled can accommodate two people, and the ride with the husky sled can last from 20 minutes to an hour and a half or even more. Don't worry about the huskies: they love to pull the sled and are able to run tirelessly on the trails in the forest. The winters in Transylvania are cold, but we take care of that: you will have the opportunity to taste a local brandy, called "tuica", which is almost 52% alcohol.
