Discover Traditions of Bucovina!

One of the most famous Easter traditions from Bucovina is the painting of eggs.

This tradition is still preserved by a charming lady from the village of Sadova. She has a special technique. She paints the eggs with wax and with some special tools made by her. The painted motifs are traditional motifs from the area, carefully preserved. In Bucovina there is a Museum of Painted Eggs, but we take our tourists to one of the ladies who actually paints them.
