Vidraru Dam and Lake
When it was inaugurated, Vidraru Dam was the 5th from Europe and the 9th of the world. Its height is astounding - 166 meters, with a length of 307 meters. At night, the contour is electrically illuminated. Vidraru Lake is an artificial lake, created in 1965, on Arges river, for the energy production. Small boats are cruising on the lake and only the bravest can dare a bungee jumping from Vidraru Dam, where a 166 meters run-way was arranged.
