Red Lake
The Red Lake is located at 1000 meters altitude and it was formed over two centuries ago, after a massive slip of ground that locked the water path. Moreover, at the surface of the ten meters depth lake, the tips of the tree trunks swallowed by the waters can be seen, where the birds and wild geese are resting. The legends assign the name of the lake on the killing of a shepherd and his flock during the great land slip or to the sad fate of the beautiful Eszter who asked the mountains to help her in front of a burglar. The mountains would have collapsed and buried them both.
