Found on a hill’s crest, the wooden church dominates Plopis village. Its most interesting characteristic is the three-domed ceiling, seldom found at wooden churches - three domes, one in half-circle and two circle arcs. A splendid panorama toward Gutâi and ÈšibleÈ™ mountains can be seen from the tower of this church, but also the village beyond the river - ȘurdeÈ™ti - where once can see the highest wooden church in the world.
