OLD COURT
Also called the Bucharest Citadel, the Old Court was built during the rule of Vlad Èšepes, known in the West under the name of Dracula, due to the famous novelist Bram Stoker. The Old Court became broken-down after the fire from 1718, which destroyed Bucharest. In the Old Court there are preserved the ruins of the former Princely Palace, and nearby there is the Princely Church that bears the patronage of Saint Anton, the oldest Church from Bucharest.
